No. TidyBooks does much more than scanning or organising receipts. It actually creates expenses and bills in your accounting system. It's full bookkeeping automation, not just file sorting.

Which accounting platforms does TidyBooks work with?

How does TidyBooks know which invoices or receipts to use?

Our AI scans your connected accounts and identifies documents that look like invoices or receipts. It reads and extracts details like supplier name, date, amount, GST, and even line items from each invoice. Then it automatically files everything in the right categories and sends it to your accounting software.

Do I need to approve each transaction manually?

You can choose your workflow. Some users prefer to review transactions before they're sent, while others trust TidyBooks to post them automatically. You stay in control either way.

How secure is my data?
