Do my files leave my computer?
No. The merge runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on a server, and the tool works offline once the page has loaded.
What is the odd & even mode for?
If you scanned a stack of double-sided paper through an auto-feeder that only does one side at a time, you end up with two PDFs: one with odd pages, one with even pages. This mode interleaves them in the correct order.
How many files can I merge?
Up to 10 files at once in multiple-files mode. Two files in odd/even mode. There's no page-count limit beyond what your browser can handle in memory.
Can I reorder the files before merging?
Yes. In multiple-files mode, use the up/down arrows on each row to reorder. The final PDF preserves the order shown on screen.
What kinds of PDF can I merge?
Any standard PDF. Scanned documents, text PDFs, mixed content, and password-free PDFs all work. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first.
